                         Jeep safari

Jeep safari  in kaziranga National Park is permitted only on designated tourist path which is decided by forest officials .Maximum 4 gypsy are allowed  on these circuit .
These gypsy are the registered gypsy with the park authority, These gypsy belong to local people of nearby village . For them it's an employment.

You are not allowed to take your private vehicle in Kaziranga National Park premises .The moment you enter the park you need to abide certain protocols .

                  Safari Charges

Before making entry to park tourist are required to hire a jeep from a local operator whose jeep are registered with park authority, after registration the authority will permit 5 people to mount per Gypsy ..

Please find the following charges you need to pay before making entry.

Entry fee for park is Rs 50/per person if you are an Indian.

If you are a foreigner entry fee is RS 500/per person.

Toll charges for vehicle is Rs 300

Safari in parks start from early morning 7am to 9:30 amto afternoon 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm.

what to wear when at Kaziranga National Park

There is no protocol that tourist going to kaziranga national Park had to abide in context of clothes . But i am just sharing my personal experience so that you can have a wonderful experience of that location .

Avoid wearing shiny and reflective clothes during kaziranga national park safari , as reflective and shiny clothes often attracts wild animal attention which force them to leave the place .

so,instead of wearing shiny and reflective you should go for clothes that matches kaziranga National park surroundings so, you can wear dark green ,muddy brown and rocky grey .

prefer to wear that clothes which cover your entire body as Kaziranga national park safari during summer will make you feel itching on uncovered part.

other imperative things you should consider when you are in kaziranga national park could be , caps , water- bottles ,binocular .However ,these items are not part of clothing but often prove to be a beneficial.

Mode of safari at kaziranga National Park

As safari track on Kaziranga National park are raw on earth , some of the areas in kaziranga national park are muddy ,so only safari on elephant can make you cover those areas, i would recommend you to go on elephant safari trust me it's safe .
